John’s work on the strategy and implementation of public consultation in the development of the department’s website transformation was essential to the success of the project. This transformation took the department’s online presence from its previous inward focus to a user-centred experience which helped Victorians to access information and services quickly and easily. His experience, enthusiasm and professionalism were also vital in the overhaul of websites for sensitive, high-profile areas of the department such as Corrections and Victims Support. From day one, I threw big challenges at John - including the development of stakeholder engagement strategies and the running of end user workshops in multiple cities.
